80% recycled Shingle Roof - 15 October 2008 Skellerup Viking Roofing and Waterproofing have introduced a new innovative premium roofing shingle, made from 80% recycled materials with the look of natural slate.
Ecostar is a slate roof tile that is manufactured from recycled post industrial waste rubber and plastics. Some of the principle recycled materials used are Car Bumpers, Radiator Hoses, Door Mouldings and Automotive tyres. The manufacture of EcoStar roof tiles prevents these materials from ending up in landfills.
