Relaunch of successful Butyclad waterproofing membrane - 02 September 2009 Skellerup Viking Roofing and Waterproofing continue to invest in flat roof membrane solutions for the construction industry in New Zealand. Today they have relaunched their successful Butylclad membrane solution.
Branded as Skellerup Butylclad V Series, the product is 100mm wider than the previous product. The wider sheets mean fewer seams, and when applied with Skellerup’s 76mm lap tap, will provide a more reliable secure watertight finish on the roof surface.
The Butylclad membrane solution is BRANZ Appraised to ensure that it meets the New Zealand Building Code requirements.
The Butylclad product, manufactured in New Zealand, is 70% Butyl and 30% EPDM. It will remain in black and grey in 20m length rolls for the 1.5mm thick and 25m for the 1.00mm. The new V-Series will begin to come on stream over the coming months as the traditional 1250mm wide Butylclad sells through.
